The SHARECITY project led by Prof. Anna Davies (TCD) is currently advertising a 2 year postdoctoral position to co-design food sharing sustainability assessments.
The Department of Geography at Trinity College, the University of Dublin, is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to work with Professor Anna Davies on her ERC-funded project SHARECITY: Assessing the practice and sustainability potential of city-based food sharing economies. This position is a fixed term contract for two years. The successful applicant will be a core member of the SHARECITY team. The researcher will contribute to the third phase of the SHARECITY project, specifically focusing on a) conceptual and analytical development of metrics and measures of sustainability impacts as they are created through diverse practices of urban food sharing and b) the co-design of a toolkit to assist in the demonstration of sustainability impacts of food sharing initiatives that will be made available as an online resource. The successful candidate will be hosted in the Department of Geography, School of Natural Science and will become a member of Environmental Governance Research Group and the Future Cities Research Centre: https://www.tcd.ie/futurecities/.
