The Department of Geography at Trinity College, the University of Dublin, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work for a period of 24 months with Professor Anna Davies on the ERC-funded project SHARECITY: Assessing the practice and sustainability potential of city-based food sharing economies and additional projects with Professor Anna Davies, Principle Investigator of SHARECITY, Chair of Geography, Environment and Society at Trinity College. SHARECITY is funded by the European Research Council and is a collaborative, multi-phased investigation of the phenomenon of ICT-mediated food sharing in cities. The successful applicant will become a core member of the SHARECITY team and will lead the participatory backcasting aspect of the research which will examine the future of food sharing in cities as well as developing and helping to design and deliver a low-carbon conference for dissemination of SHARECITY outputs.

Funding: Appointment will be made on the Research Fellow scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy for new postdoctoral researchers Level 2A. Experienced postdoctoral researchers will be considered if exceptionally well-qualified for the post.
